Architecture Decision Records

Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) document significant architectural decisions made for the Releaf platform. They capture the context, options considered, and rationale behind each decision.

  • Historical Context: Understand why decisions were made
  • Knowledge Sharing: Onboard new team members effectively
  • Decision Tracking: Keep a record of what we’ve decided and why
  • Avoiding Revisits: Prevent re-discussing settled decisions

Each ADR includes:

  • Status: Proposed, Accepted, Deprecated, or Superseded
  • Context: The problem or situation requiring a decision
  • Decision: What we decided to do
  • Consequences: The resulting context after applying the decision
